George Harrison - All Those Years Ago
George originally wrote the song with different lyrics for Ringo Starr to record, but Ringo felt that the vocal was too high for his own range, and did not like the words. George took the song back, and after John Lennon’s death in 1980, changed the lyrics as a tribute to John. George made a reference to All You Need is Love, and Lennon’s song Imagine.
The song features all three remaning Beatles (one of the few non-Beatles songs), with George Martin as the producer.
